Australian economy bounces in June quarter defying rapid rate rises

Australia's economy remains resilent despite surging inflation and rapid interest rate rises. 

Official data from the ABS show economic growth or GDP rose 0.9 percent in the second quarter of this year making an annual rate of 3.6 percent. 

But some economists think this might be the peak of the bullish news as the impact of rate rises start to bite.
