Crown Perth unsuitable to hold casino licence - but will stay open with independent monitor

In another blow to James Packer's gaming empire, Crown Resorts has been found to be unit to operate its lucrative Perth casino.

But a final report from the West Australian Royal Commission has not cancelled Crown's licence - instead appointing an independent monitor to oversee the casino.
