Crown Resorts is under pressure to clean up its operations and to stamp out money laundering and exposure to criminal gangs after being ruled "unfit" to run its Perth casino.
The James Packer-controlled company has managed to hold on to its casino licence after a West Australian royal commission gave Crown two years to get its house in order.
The final report from the West Australian Royal Commission has not cancelled Crown's licence - instead appointing an independent monitor to oversee the casino.
Anti-money laundering expert Andrew Jackson says Crown now needs to show it's serious about rebuilding trust with regulators.
