"Pallet-gate" - Coles boss Steven Cain on why your Christmas orders could run late

Coles chief executive Steven Cain warns a critical shortage of pallets used in the freight of goods could threaten deliveries in the leadup to Christmas. 

Mr Cain dubbed the problem "pallet-gate" and said a shortage of wood used to make the pallets could strangle warehouse deliveries.

He warned that people making Christmas orders should move sooner rather than later.
