Fortescue green energy chief warns "the planet is cooking" ahead of crucial Glasgow climate talks

It's still unknown if the Prime Minister will attend the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow which begins at the end of the month.

But while Scott Morrison is busy striking a deal with the National Party on a net zero target by 2050, big business is sidestepping the political theatre and finetuning plans for the transition to a green economy.

Fortescue Future Industries chief executive Julie Shuttleworth is traveling to Glasgow for COP26 where she's taken a strategy to produce "green" hydrogen to replace coal and gas for the production of iron and steel.
