"Worst since oil shock of 1970s" - ACCI/Westpac survey sees stalled supply chains hampering rapid economic re-opening

Supply chain blockages are at their worst since the oil shock of the 1970s, according to a survey by the Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Westpac.  

Chief executive Andrew McKellar tells AM despite resilience in some sectors, lockdowns in NSW and Victoria continue to damage confidence. 

Mr McKellar says ending state border disputes and easing international restrictions will be critical to the re-opening of the economy.
