Bluescope Steel yet to see dent from housing correction; Ita Buttrose firms as ABC chair pick

Bluescope Steel chief executive Mark Vassella confirms he has seen a moderation in demand from the housing correction but warns that any shock could have a more material impact on the steel maker. 

Also today, Ita Buttrose has been named as a possible top candidate for the ABC chair role which has been vacant for five months. 

Prime Minister Scott Morrison says a decision is yet to be made but says he was surprised and disappointed to receive an all-male short list from the government's selection panel.
