Queen's image to remain on $5 note "for some time" as protocols begin on slow and delicate transition to King Charles

 

The death of the Queen after a 70 year reign has shaken up so many things we take for granted.

One of the biggest changes will be replacing the Queen's effigy or image on the five dollar banknote and also coins that are currently in circulation.

But it will be a slow process that (not surprisingly) needs to adhere to strict royal protocols.
