Australian forensic sleuths to trace Russia's suspected theft of Ukrainian wheat

An Australian company has been enlisted by the British government to use forensic science to trace wheat and other commodities that Russia might have stolen from Ukraine.

The Perth-based Source Certain will effectively "fingerprint" wheat to determine its true original, ownership and whether it has been relabelled by Russia for the global market.

Russia has repeatedly denied the allegations, but that's not stopping the UK as well as the European Union from using advanced technology to ensure stolen commodities like wheat don't make it to global markets.

I speak with Source Certain chief executive Cam Scadding on AM and ABC NewsRadio
